I already asked him the same questions but no reply.1800$ for a JGT,you can buy them in europe with papers for $500-700.

The German Hunting Terrier Club in Germany does not recognize Dogs breed outside Germany and its membership as "Purebreds". The rules are stringent and many Dogs are deemed unfit and are not allowed to breed, thus cant be registered. Pups in Germany tend to sell in the price range from 300 to 1200 Euros (exchange rate 1.40 Cdn Dollar to 1 Euro) and are usually sold only to verified active Hunters. I know because I had 4 of them in 40 years of commercial hunting.
A GHT is not a Toy. They are way to active for the average Hunter. Yes they can drive you crazy but when it comes to searching all kinds of wounded Game including dangerous critters capable of killing the Hunter, there are few Dogs a better Partner then a German Hunting Terrier.

I don't com here as often if u sent email or msg perhaps i would see it, I paid mine $1300 US with shipping plus customs fee
now u do the mat or better yet go to Europe and buy one
