Been hunting geese in region 7-7. Only local birds so far and theyre getting real used to my spread and giving it a wide birth. Where are the Northern birds? No big flocks heading South seen yet?

Been hunting 7 12 ducks have been slow lots of geese around. Notice a change in main duck species I see this week. Also the geese I am getting now are larger assume I was getting lessers earlier
My knowledge is limited just what I am noticing on the water. My calling sucks and not the best with waterfowl still nock some birds down though lol

Still lots of ducks and geese in the Fort St. John area. This is often the time of year they start disappearing, but there are lots of crops in the field for them.
