    Hunting off Brenda Mines

    Live in Kelowna, and was wondering if it would be worth my time driving up to Brenda mines area tomorrow to hunt got Deer. Went up off Sunset main 2 weeks ago and saw nothing.

    Need help open deer season (excluding Mule Doe) is almost over and freezer is empty.

    Yeah I found that area lol...

    Getting frustrated lol... But that is what hunting is all about.

    SSS nailed it, but i understand your frustration because in my first few years I spent a lot of time getting to know areas that didn't hold the animals I was hunting. I thought if it looked good to me, it must look good to them. Eventually I figured out that I had to keep moving until I found prolific sign, then it made sense to invest in learning and hunting the area.

    I would say the easiest sign to find is does. You can't shoot them, but they are easy to spot and you know bucks aren't far away. If you aren't seeing plenty of does, keep moving.
