    Honda. 1 8X7 elk whole.I know it is not sxs but the 300 trx still gets the job done.

    Not sure if this is directed to me.... if so, yes - well used 2004 Grizzly 660... runs like a champ. Used it for spring bear so got it bloody already. Just looking for new tires now.

    As a hunting quad you don't need big power...Polaris 400 is plenty enough power wise.

    The Polaris 570 midsize sxs is my choice as best all around hunting ATV.

    I think okas means that while riding the CVT type quads, you have to be hard on the throttle all the time, even while going down a hill. Hence the noise.
    While with a transmission type quad you can upshift and putt along barely using the throttle, or even none at all while going down hill. Therefor, a lot quieter.
    I know this to be true, that's why okas somewhat cryptic sentence makes a bit of sense.

    thank you Ubertuber as i have had them all down to a 8 wheel argo Can Am 1000 LTD with fox air ride noisy way to fast but tough and the Honda 420 rancher not as nice as a old 350 but close

    Funny I putt along just fine in my belt driven machine ... the secondary clutch has 4 settings ... mine is set to the lowest speed highest tourqe value ... I dont hafta be on the gas much to move along .... my machine isnt loud ... if I had a stealth exhaust it would very quiet

    its a Polaris Ranger full sized machine 700 twin
