I have narrowed it down to a yamaha or honda 400 - 700 cc must have independent rear suspension and eps if a larger machine.

Is a 2006 Grizzly still worth $ 7500??? Or are these guys dreaming?

What should the going price range of say a 2006 to 2010 grizzly be?
Does not seem to be any irs Hondas anywhere.

No it is not worth that kind of money. He would be lucky to get $5000 for it and only if it had next to no kms on it.
$7500 should be closer to the 2009 - 2012 model depending on shape.
My buddy just got a 2014 Bruteforce 750 EPS with 227kms on it for $8500 so deals are out there.

I bought a Yamaha grizzly 700 with the power steering and line lock 4wd. I'm 330 lbs at 6'11" and and pulls me around no problem. Even up 20% grade. I often have all my gear and my gf on the back to and no issues yet

    elch_jager:
A co-worker bought a grizzly 700cc 2016 limited edition for 14K taxes in a month ago. The limited edition has 2K worth of stuff extra.
I was helping him look for new ones and I found some for $10K (last year's model). There are also discounts available for costco member, he mentioned something like $300.

I try to not go brand new on things but it might be worth looking into?

also note that this is 700cc. 500cc maybe even cheaper...

unless its mint and never ridden then the seller is dreaming

4-4500 is a fair price for an average 11 year old ATV

that said I paid 8k for my Ranger that was 10 years old, only averaged 30 hours of use in a year, mint with 2 winches, plow system and few other goodies. to buy new comparable it would have retailed at 22k

    14K is insane.
    So is $7500 for used.
Under $5K is what I am thinking.

Yup listen to kilometres!! My 06' grizz 660 has been an outstanding unit since I bought it new, when I was younger (11 years ago) me and all my buddies bought brand new atvs, different manufacturers, rode the absolute $hit out of them in water snow and mud hunting and camping , adventuring and the grizz and few buddies with their Hondas were the only ones out of the group that didn't have to do more then maintenance!! Knock on wood, but my grizz has been a great atv, just did changed the belt yesterday for the first time in 11years with 4600km on it!!!

I have a 650 Can-Am outlander 2-up, have been very happy with it, very comfortable ride, tons of power. Would definitely buy another one.

Brought my 2014 grizzly special edition in late 2014 for $9300 and then added a few goodies. $14000 is very high. $7500 for a 2006 is crazy. I wouldn't hesitate to by a minty 06 though, maybe $5500 tops. You can get a brand new 700 with out eps for $7995, an 06 doesnt have eps either.

Last fall, I sold my 2008 700 Grizz for $5400. It had 6000km on it. I think that was a fair price for both of us.
    7500 for a '06 is not a realistic price.
