Take the canadian firearms course to get a firearm. Take the core course to get a hunter number.
and if you cant have a fire arm do to health?
I can understand why your health would not allow you to use a firearm but why would your health not allow you to own a firearm?

There is a course for bowhunting - it's called the I.B.E.P.
International Bowhunters Education Program. It'll give you a real head start on bowhunting. It is usually a classroom/outdoor type course and IIRC it's a 2-dayer. Check out Hermit's thread...

But you don't need a course to own a bow.
No, you don't need any sort of course to own or to hunt with a bow. All you need are the usual hunting license (hunter number required) and species license/tag. Oh yeah, and a whole lotta luck.
when I came back to BC the province wouldnt reconize my IBEP course as hunter ed ...nor my previous 6 years of tags and licences from AB
I challanged the Core and had my BC hunter # in a week
