    The only advantage to a light rifle is it's weight, all other advantages go to the heavier rifle..

    looks like its the ram in the middle in the before picture (correct me if i'm wrong) is there a story on the one at the back? the picture sure looks like he has a wide and deep curl - just wondering if he wasn't of age or full curl.

    The ram on the ground is the top ram in the picture.
    Middle ram was 10. Nice ram but not what I was looking for.

    Interesting to see the two horn styles together and be able to compare and visualize what the mount on the wall would look like

    When assessing a ram it sure does help to have other rams to compare. Know of a few short-faced sheep shot that were on their own that looked a lot bigger than they actually were.

    I was wondering the same thing ... but from the other thread "as they lay" it doesnt seem so. The goat doesnt look too beat up, so I would say no.

    If he shot it there it would be in pretty bad shape me thinks.
