The pack was great, well worth the $170 lol. My pack out wasn't too far, only a kilometer and a bit maybe, which was made easier by the fact that I had my brother and a couple buddies to help. The boat helped us get under him then we had about a hour and a bit hike up to him where I was able to take him at 20-30 yards. Without the boat the hike might have been around 10kms I think.

Had daytime tcam pics of this beauty preseason but it went nockturnal once the season started.
Finally caught up to him during daylight hours today!
Took out his gizzard with the .170.
He's just a 'meat tree' but I'm pretty happy with him as he'll do a fine job filling our living room.
