Bang, he's 8.5". My biggest so I'm happy, learned lots by watching him and his sidekick for awhile!

WaHOO 264 ! Way to go , congrats to you. They are an incredible animal. Sausage Ala Billy ..... Should have longer hair then the real early ones too. The Harvesting of most decent Goats is very under rated. Usually the hard work and guts one needs to just get in range can be unnerving, never mind the retrieval . Again, congrats. Looking forward to the close ups.

Looks like a nice goat. Congratulations.
Growing old is unavoidable. Growing up is highly overrated....

The only advantage to a light rifle is it's weight, all other advantages go to the heavier rifle..

Good batch of photos 264, mind if I ask what caliber you used? What bullet type/weight? How did the goat react to the shot?

Goats being such a tough animal, I'm always curious on the caliber, bullet, and how the goat reacted to the shot.

The hunter I guided a few weeks ago was using a sendero 300 rum, HSM ammunition (the last goat hunt that rifle was going on I think lol) Its the first time iv seen a goat dump from the first shot, and it never even hit bone. Blew my mind lol.
