    Red face Oops

Here's a funny for all of you.
I just put a new Trophy Ridge sight on my bow.
My old sight was Red/Yellow/Green, for 20, 30 40 yards.
The Trophy Ridge is a verticle pin and goes Green/Yellow/Red, closest to furthest.
I eyeballed the location of the red pin my old sight, and put the 20 yard, green pin of the new sight in about the same spot. Figured I'd step back 10 yards to test, just in case. I know my 20 yard pin should be pretty close to the money even at 10 yards. Pretty smart eh?

So I am at 10 yards, draw, and settle in. Hey this verticle pin things is kinda different,... oh well, so I am thinking just put the red pin on the target and let fly, let's see where it hits.

Smack.... what the.... Ah crap,... I just shot my trophy shed again....

Using a 40 yard pin at 10 yards will shoot over a bag target!

    4pts...

    Re: Oops

The first time I let my brother shoot my bow he did something similar. He shot High enough to launch the arrow off the top of the bag and into complete nowhere in the woods. Very funny unless you paid for the arrow. How's the shed?
    Steve.
It's better to pass on a shot that you wish later you took, then to take a shot and wish later you didn't.

My brother's neighbor has a neat-as-you-please round hole in the side of her garage that we have no idea how it got there
