    Snowshoe hare question

I managed to get my first hare tonight while out looking for grouse. While cleaning it, I noticed what I think was probably tapeworms? Long, flat, segmented and white around its intestines. Just interested to know what I was looking at, and if cooked fully is it still good to eat? Figured it would be, but thought I'd ask someone who knows first. The hare didn't look sick in any way. Thanks in advance.
