Great pics.........
thought for a second someone had posted a pic of my truck.
have the same one (clubcab, not 4 door), same color, same canopy etc.
same shitty transmission.
not sure what year yours is, but 97's and 98's and even possibly 99's had a "big problem" with the
throttle body? in the tranny itself.
Anyway, to the poster that was considering buying one.....DON'T!
Pigs on gas, worse than even just about any full sized pickup ever made.
It's a dodge, you can guarantee yourself that you will be underneath a dodge doing tranny repairs at some point.
get a Toyota, if your lookin for a smaller size pickup.
Put it this way...how many jap trucks do you see broken down needing a tow?.....
I'm not talking about the ones that rolled or crashed.
Stupid dodge. So back to hunting. Killed anything yet?
Well we got camp set-up. Up before daylight and we had packs on. We gumbooted it to the far end of the area we were hunting. My brother wanted to show me a spot he's seen plenty of sheep. If we shot one where he showed me, it'd be a shitty spot, but retrievable. However, no one was home.
We started working our way back the other way just to get the lay of the land. We met another couple sheep hunting as well. They hadn't spotted anything that morning. They showed up the night before like us.
We continued on and my brother spotted some sheep down below. Spotting scope out.
One ram was heavy and tight. Another had a nice wide flare. They were with some bananna rams and ewes. But we were waiting for the two big guys to turn their head.
The heavy ram finally turned. Too short. He wasn't broomed at all. So hopefully he lives another two years. Then the couple came up. The guy finally fessed up and admitted he was glassing those sheep. We took a better look at the wide flared out sheep. He as well needed a couple years.
It was getting later in the day so we made it back to camp.
We seen one guy half ass walk in and turn around. So where we were, it was my brother and myself, as well as the couple the only ones hunting the area.
Hold the phone... last day and my brother just got off work... hail mary time!
Great story and Pics
