We had a great time in the blind this morning! We certainly could/should have more on the ground but couldn't reload fast enough when the shooting got hot and heavy!

Awesome! Good job, i am jelous
Nice - OD was a bit of a bust for me. Miserable weather (+3, rain, wind) can make for some epic hunts but not at my spot. My buddy & I got 5 combined in 2.5 hours; usually we limit out in under 2. I think with all the rain we've had in the past month, there is so much water laying everywhere and the birds aren't concentrated in the larger marshes. At least I hope that's it. The other option is that many of the birds have already been pushed south with the recent crap weather.
Congrats! I took a youth out hunting for whitetail this morning in region 8. Heritage waterfowl days are on today and tomorrow for youth under 18 here in region 8. Just minutes after he put down his first deer, several ducks flew overhead and I couldn't help but thinking it was a pity he didn't have a shotgun with him so he could take home some duck as well.
