    Broadhead weights

So I have tuned and sighted in my crossbow with the bolt set up I am shooting. Excalibur Matrix 350LE, have not set up the Chrony yet, will some time, but not really worried about speed, more about accuracy as I will be limited to 40y max until I shoot more and more.

    - 18" carbon Diablos w/2" Blazers
    - what I thought was 125 gr field points
    - Total weight was 410 gr.

Now here is the problem, I weighted the field points and they are all 113.6-114gr......so they are not 100 or 125gr.
So I took my NAP Spitfires 125gr and they weight 146.6-147.1 gr.....same for my Exodus 125
Took my 100 gr 2 blade rage and they are 113-133.4 gr, same for my 100 gr Grim Reapers.

So, it looks like I was given 100 gr field points instead of 125's, which I will have to fix tomorrow.

The questions I have is do all field tips/BH weight more than listed?? Also will adding 33-34gr of weight really make much if a difference to the bolt and accuracy??

    Cheers

    Re: Broadhead weights

Brought out my old RCBS scale and yup, my electronic scale is FUBAR.....

Back to resighting in.....another day in the field......tough!!!

They did give me 100 gr heads, so they weighted them for me to see if they were 125's and they were all 100. Someone had mixed up the 100 and 125's.

    Cheers
