Reminder to pick up your fallen fruit. I know this is a sanctuary but it could happen in your yard.
One fall I was home from work recovering from shoulder surgery and I looked out my front window to see two black feet hanging from my apple tree. Upon closer investigation I saw a bear had gotten to the tree before I could pick the apples. Made for a great photo opportunity. He stayed there for hours. Even climbed down and had a nap at the base of the tree only to climb back up for more.
