    I wouldn't use climbing rope because it is designed for a dynamic load and it stretches like crazy. You want a static line that doesn't have any stretch.

    1/4 inch dyneema. Replaces wire rope on the Lewis. The shit is awesome, slippery though so you have to splice it properly to put the eye on the end. It will bind into the spool if not wound on tight, no biggie though. There's no fraying or Jagger's or kinks. Light too. The whole power head and winch is a bit heavy but can pull like a *******.

    Simpson. 18 lbs with a honda motor. Use as much rope as you want to carry.
