    Fantastic pictures. The mule deer in the first set of pics has a huge body.

    Wonderful treasure you have there. Sure wish my dad and grand dad had taken and kept more photos. Good lesson for all of us to make sure we take a few of our selves for our grand kids and beyond. Image what the world might look like even fifty or seventy five years from now and how our great grand kids will look upon our times with a mix of wonder and nostalgia!

    My wife and I make up travel photo books on-line and get them printed up as keepsakes... maybe I'll do one for this year's hunts.

    I was talking about that with my grandmother. Many of the pictures she has, were printed by here from the original negatives due to water damages on the originals. Now though, everything is on digital cameras. I can't say how many pictures I lost years ago when a virus wiped out my computer. Now I have them on my computer and back them up to a hard drive but even then it just doesn't feel as permanent.

    Some real treasures there D , congrats.
    Digital copies are okay , but they lack the nostalgic look of hard prints

    Some great photos you have there!! Good chance our grandparents guided a
    bit together back in the day.
    Chief louie, would that be where chief Louie lake across ootsa come from? Spent a bit of time trapping with my dad out there when I was a kid.
    Them were some tuff dudes back then! Thanks for posting them up.
