Some of the pictures are taken when my family lived in the US, many are around the Ootsa Lake/Burns Lake region
My great Grandfather Jim Clark II was a guide in the Ootsa Lake region for many years as well as my grandfather Jake Giesbrecht.
This picture is my Great Great Grandfather with Chief Louie, who was a prominent figure around the area.

Awesome pictures!!
Very cool thanks for sharing that with us. Definetly no shortage of wolves back then. Hope they had leh for that cow moose haha jk
Must be photoshop. We all know that you can't hunt without camo!
Just kidding! Love the pics--they're a real treasure. Thanks for sharing.
My grandfather was from the Burns Lake area too. Apparently he killed moose all the time, both for the family and to feed to the mink he farmed.
A conservationist is an environmentalist with a gun.
Some great photos there. Thanks for sharing. I love open sites on rifles. So many of those photos makes one realize how things have changed.
