    MAN how friggin epic would it be to go back in time and spend a few nights in those ol trappers cabins and shoot the shit with them ol boys! GREAT PICS!

    Some of the pictures are taken when my family lived in the US, many are around the Ootsa Lake/Burns Lake region

    My great Grandfather Jim Clark II was a guide in the Ootsa Lake region for many years as well as my grandfather Jake Giesbrecht.



    This picture is my Great Great Grandfather with Chief Louie, who was a prominent figure around the area.

    The hide behind the rifle would be a wolf would it not? Looks like a long tail so it wouldn't be a bear.

    Just kidding! Love the pics--they're a real treasure. Thanks for sharing.

    My grandfather was from the Burns Lake area too. Apparently he killed moose all the time, both for the family and to feed to the mink he farmed.

    Some great photos there. Thanks for sharing. I love open sites on rifles. So many of those photos makes one realize how things have changed.
