2016 grouse population

Seen some biggies here in region 8 lately...

Havnt seen any on the island so far.

It's not looking great in my Region 2 grouse spots or MU in general. Seen 3 or 4 this year on the road and flushed some in the timber. Last year I was seeing a few every day I was out. Oh well. They're still some around and I'm still seeing bucks which is all that counts lol

I walked into a flock of 10 grouse the other day. They were right in camp.
Never saw so many in one place. All blue grouse.
But I won't be harvesting any.

was up in 5-1 for bow season and seen about 100 in 4 days, same with the bunnies
