I get this sometimes when I try to reply to a thread and other times when I try to access a thread from the search engine.
Never saw it before.
On active threads and not out of date as it suggests.Oops!

Happened to me a few weeks ago when I was trying to copy and paste an article. I thought maybe too many words, so I cut it down, and was not the problem. Had me scratching my head as well.

The first occasion was identical to yours. The second was when I was trying to access a thread from the search engine.
Okay, I went back and duplicated the thread search and as it turns out, the thread was indeed stale. It was one started by Gatehouse. Self explanatory.
