    Another reason to stick with Leupold...

    The only advantage to a light rifle is it's weight, all other advantages go to the heavier rifle..

    Well let's see my older brother and I have been using the Leupold Vari X III , VX III , VX3 3.5-10x40 duplex scopes for about 30 years and we have no less than 12 of them in our family and not one one of us has lost any hunting time, lost a zero or ever had one go in for warranty, I just bought 2 new VX-3i scopes and they are awesome to say the least.

    I don't think you can buy a better scope for the money.

    How this ended up in 'Hunting Dogs' I'm not certain, likely my bad...

    I had a rifle stolen from and I found it a year later stashed in behind some bushes. Scope was a lowly Bushnell but it worked fine. Didn't get stuck in a beaver dam though.

    Last Kamloops gun show the chap behind me had a cabinet full of them goll
    dang things.
    So much so, four ended up at my table.
    Three for me and one for my buddy that bought my Ruger Carbine.
    Interesting weekend.
    I'm up three Leupolds and down a 44 Rem Mag and 35 as well.
    Buuuuuuuuuuuut, gartzs a .264 Win Mag..............................................
