I guess it's begun...

Ministry can find money for this but there's no money for having a C/O come out once in a while during the summer fishing season and waterfowl season to police the area.
I imagine this is just another step in the Ministry trying to shut down hunting in the Pitt. Government should be for the people, not personal agendas!

The Ministry put up new signs telling about all the activities in the area but neglected to include hunting; they also posted this sign:



Dogs on a leash in an area open to hunting Waterfowl? WTF???

I've seen those signs along the Pitt Dikes...few people obey them.
As some people I've stopped and spoken to said...people have been using the dikes for
taking their dogs and horses exercising since the dikes were built and can't see why
they can't continue to do so. I would imagine the local coyotes, skunks, raccoons, mink,
weasels, bears, and possums will be ordered to clean up after themselves and be leashed
as well sometime in the near future.
