Out on Saturday, I did see one but it was a bit on the small side....I need to put my first notch in my old 303 but its gotta be a decent sized bear worth taking..

So much burnt country, how old is the burn? Looks like it is getting pretty good

^^^^burn is only a couple years old, the prob is, too many roads cut through it...if it didn't have the roads, or they were deactivated, it would make for some really good habitat for all critters...but it had lots of green up so I thought I'd give it a whirl...bear wasn't on a road but in the thicker stands..

Beautiful area Harry, I recognize it, close to my Brother in-laws place (won't give it away). Good luck out there! That's awesome about the 303! I might give the iron sights a whirl on my '06 this spring, I just got a 2-7x35 though... Looking forward to your next updates!

^^^^thanks, hopefully I get a decent amount of time to spring bear hunt this season....lol the family camping and fishing takes a lot of the coveted bush time..

Great pictures. I am going to have to ask you to stop. It's making me want to get off the couch... giving me all sorts of sensations and making me think of that envelope on the counter with my remaining bear tag that I promised myself was only an insurance policy.
