    Re: Trapping Permit

I've tried to get into a trapper ed-course awhile ago and was told my name was 'on the list' to be called the next time a course was held somewhere between Merritt and the lowermainland. Is there a way to track down a course w/o going through the Trappers web-site (http://www.bctrappers.bc.ca/contactus.html )? Can I borrow / buy a book from someone and challange?

Is it possible to make a living as a trapper anymore?

I dont want to make a living, but we own a bit of land and it's another excuse to get out and enjoy (that and I don't think there is another legal way to take Fox and such...)

look into the live stock act and see if it applies to you
if you can find somewhere to take the permit please let me know as i too would like to Take it. I checked some time ago and there was nowhere in the lowermainland that I could take it.
