Don't sweat it.....Bears are definately one of if not the least studied critters out there......weird cause they are everywhere, seems most just don't watch them enough......

Cool vids though........sure neat to watch Bears acting like bears, playing and such...really they act alot like dogs and certainly are just as smart.

As pointed out Yes you've got a "young" Sow with what are definately last Year's cubs (2 year olds)....in my experiences she'll likely tolerate them tagging along for the rest of the summer ( they could get chased away by a Boar when Breeding time arrives shortly though ) otherwise she will definately give them the boot before she dens up.

Hey guys i am Christopher, I am barely 18, live in Coquitlam, just bought a win mag 300 off of Mr. Dean, and am totaly pumped up to go hunting... so I was lazying around (took summer semester off) when I peer out the window and see 3 black bears (I think one might be 6.5 feet ) waltzing in my pond. As a proud new hunter of this fine, fine province I noticed that they're fur was excellent.

The Cubs would have been born last winter and emerged with Mommy in the spring.......this would be thier "second" year hence 2 year olds

Sows will often get bred again when still rearing cubs from the previous year.......sometimes not.

a 300wsm is ALOT more gun than those daisy air rifles you shoot in cadets

Thats absolutely true. Sometimes you will see a sow with a cub or two which is much bigger than the other(s). This is because the sow has bred again. This year, we spotted a sow with four cubs. Never seen that much before, usually three is the number but its nice to see that they are healthy enough to produce so many. As previously posted, hunting is more than about "pumping lead". As you mature into the sport, you ( some never do) become more about conservation and preservation of our sport. I like to be out there to enjoy the wilderness and the comraderie of all my fellows.

Real nice bear video but sorry for the mess they made - but bears will be bears and the chance to witness that was worth it imo.
