A large group should do just as 180 suggested. Get organized, set up camp, take shifts and blockade them in. Wood stoves in a tarp town.

If for no other reason then to see how long it takes the authorities to order the dismantle of a "white peoples camp".

At least we could finally answer, definitively, the question of "...how long do you think the blockade would last if whitey tried that?".

Then confront the media to report the obvious inequity. Stir up some shit or just bellyache about the injustice of it?!?!

Well then somebody from the area get organizing!!

It won't likely be a long commitment either. Probably be ordered taken down pretty quick. But it might end up getting ordinary people talking about the one sided treatment.

Heck, if you supply some hotdogs and transportation, you can probably move a "homeless" camp out there. They can tent anywhere they want.

Seems like it's just you and me that can't.

I found this link to their cause...specifically the blockade. Blocking access to hunters is not one of their stated goal...it's the logging that they say they are against.

Seems like it's been going on since the spring but they are doing some serious building up there right now. Girl in the red bandana beside the chief in his video was on site.

Let's hope they run no interference with hunters

From the link, they want to block logging that will impact a heritage site. I don't see a real issue with that, it's not uncommon to protest destroying any heritage site, from any culture. Who wants industry to destroy their history? Nobody.

Yeah I've got no problem with that either. It is a beautiful valley and from up high it looks like there has been very little logging.
