Unfortunately, it is "human nature" to be greedy.
(look at C-19 and mass rush to buy up stuff)

So yes, monitoring to some degree is the future.
Get rid of humans "inherit greed" and then we can talk about how to disassemble the need to monitor.
But yes, you are right, big brother is watching.

But, i have no issues if natives want to record the coming and goings (as long as they record themselves as well).
That far less worse then having a blockade where they think they can stop us hunting.

Should Natives be tracked when they enter the city?

That check-in point doesn't bother me. They were very pleasant when I came by.

You know, i am not going to get into a pissing match over it.

Sadly, i dont agree with the traditional territory BS and all the things starting to develop from it which appears that the FN want to start to stop
any non FN from entering or what we can do etc.
In that regards, eventually some are going to get hurt on both sides of the fence, as it wont stop me or others like me.

But, if this agreement is going to exist, and if the FN want to record vehicles coming and going, then so be it.
If they feel that helps them protect their land from abuse, then so be it.
Hell, i just mentioned in another thread some of the abuse going on by a few hunters around CC.
So, they record a few plates coming and going.
If someone is doing bad shit, at least they have some idea of who it is.

And you know what, hopefully they record some of "their own" coming and going.
Maybe they might realize that a few of theirs aren't so great either.
( if they are not, then they are being fairly prejudicial, and not really helping the end game of things and betterment of wildlife #'s)

    Anyways, it doesnt bother me.
If it bothers you, then i suppose you have 2 choices.
Dont go, or "run her/them over"!

Look, you and me are on the same page as far as a lot of the FN bs goes and traditional territories and blockades go.
So no use bashing against each other.
Just a waste of time, imo.

As one said to me, "you have to choose your battles".
In this case, does a native women writing down plates really matter all that much?
Yes, I get your point that we don't write their travels down.

But, no one is stopping you from hunting there.
Which is a lot different then some of the other areas in the province where "Stopping us from hunting" is.
Those are the battles worth fighting and matter most.
Fighting this one isn't going to achieve much.
If those other blockades were only a matter of writing plates down to protect the area from say illegal activity, then that
is a compromise "I can live with", but maybe not the next guy.
But to me it is a far better solution, imo.

As for whizzing on my pants.....
    No worries...…

Not sure what rainbow bridge youre on but you should see one thing clearly affects the other in your post. You let them away with an infringement and its game on and open for any infringement.

And,,,,,even with goretex you would still smell like piss......LOL.

Well, it smells a whole lot better then a "pants full of shit" from being scared of one little old FN lady.
Besides, smelled a whole lot worse after a week in the woods.
And its not like my Lic. Plate # is top secret, only plastered on my front and back bumper for the world to see.

Honestly, some of you folks with your 1200$+ iphones looking like hotshots should worry more about that and all the personal info on those and your
habits that can be retrieved by god knows who, and the fact that your phones ping constantly to give your every location by the minute, if you dont
have your gps's on, so as to remember where the hell you are while driving or your nearest tim hortons location.

What, once she has your plate number, does she flip open her laptop and have access to DMV and your records??????
    Don't think so.

Anyways, the OP Heading is a bit misguided.
It isn't a blockade to stop anyone who is interested in going into yalakom to hunt.
    Not yet anyways.

Crackin myself up seeing a few grown men so worried about a little old lady.
And then i ask, "what you going to do about it"?????
Haven't heard a reply or answer to that.
    What, call the RCMP???
Just remind you all, the supreme court judge on the Douglas Ranch road access criticized the RCMP for catering to the Ranch and "pussy footing" what
they knew was wrong by what the ranch was doing for years, and did nothing.
Already seen that the CO's dont do dick either where FN are involved.
So???? what u going to do i ask again.

Me, if she is letting me pass and records my plate, so be it.
Maybe if i am not a prick, act polite, then maybe i need not worry that it gets worse then that.
And if it does, and really gets blocked.....well, just add that road to the list i suppose.

In that case, i might as well wait for the "earth is flat believers" to come up with a solution.
After all, they have all the answers dont they!

I have stopped and talked with her multiple times. Always a pleasant encounter. She is actually doing some good out there. I've had worse encounters with the CVSE lol

I can agree with some of your points, the one about iPhones especially and its why I don't take my cell phone hunting. In fact I'm thinking of just getting rid of it altogether. In 30 years of having one its never saved my life or done anything but suck a lot of money out of my pocket.

I dont think anyone should be blocking any road in this country, thats where we dont agree I guess. Its a slippery slope and one things for certain, when you give special interest groups an inch they will reach for the mile.
