Westbank-Westside Road
Just south of Westbank a good road climbs from Hwy 97 to the Last Mountain ski hill. It connects with the Peachland-Kelowna backroad 24 km along near Lambly Lake. About 3 Km before the junction, a rather rough road runs back to Jackpine Lake. There is good deer hunting throughout this area for mules and some whitetails to boot. excellent hunting has been enjoyed by bowhunters, along with the rifles season whaaa? Oh yea! Some bow hunters believe it is the best bow hunting in B.C. So there. Fair to good deer hunting is also found by continuing uphill toward Pennask Lake, or by hunting along Esperon Main, which branches into a network of logging roads.
