Yea take the chopper and use it for wildlife enhancement.Fine those guys good and take away the outfitters licence.
Just so you know. Helicopters can and have been used for game retrieval in BC. You must secure permission first of course and there has to be extenuating circumstances.
I was in a camp one time where we had a huntress with terminal cancer who started failing and we needed to air evac her out. Took several hours to explain the situation to authorities and get the needed permission.
Another time I was moose hunting out of a fishing lodge in the North
and the day came to leave and the weather was too poor for fixed wing.
I had to heli out with the fisherman to Smithers. The pilot was quite concerned naturally about me being a hunter so I left my rifle and as I didn't have any meat to deal with, he allowed me to board.
Of course I saw all kinds of moose from the helicopter!
You cant hunt within 6 hours of being in the air. Check the regs.
