    In my humble opinion..fixed blade = less to malfunction. Cold (frost), dirt etc. could affect opening and then there is just downright malfunction. I'll stick with my fixed 3 blade. I have my impact set up at 57 lbs. at 29" DL and I'll never take a shot that hits 40 yds. my $.02

    I had issues with them always opening in my quiver so i quit using them. I did kill a few whitetails with them and it looked like somebody hit them with an axe the wounds were so big. Switched to a qad exodus and the deer die just as fast with them if hit in the boiler room. All things mechanical will eventually fail, just when is the question.

    unfortunately your testing is done on live animals...further to that a spine shot deer usually drops right in it's tracks..would not use that rage again...it's two blade all the way for me.
