Eyes aren't what they used to be, $500 binos just not cutting it any longer. I see the Vortex Razor HD 10x42 is in the $1500 range, are they a contender with the Leica/swaro/zeiss or should I just accept the <$2k price tag of the big 3.

I couldn't imagine not having my Swarovski ELs
How many more sleeps till sheep season starts again
Sorry I meant the razor not the viper.
That's what my gut is telling me, I'll have to go look through a few but I've always had a crush on the Leica's
As hard on riggin as I am figured I'd consider the Vortex for their warranty and all the hype around em lately.
They all have that warranty, vortex is just better at marketing it. I would go with the swaro's personally. they just seem not as clunky as the leica's. but you really cant go wrong
Swaro EL HD Swarovision 10x42 on sale at GR for $2769...
Swaro SLC 10x42 any good?

Elite Energy 32
Thanks mike
Starting to lean towards a range finding bino. Leica 10x42 Geovid HD-R for $3k. Could liquidate my Leica 1600-b rangefinder (a real stud of a product!) and my current binos for around $1k. So technically I'd only be into the new unit for $2k, and eliminate an extra piece of gear. This makes perfect sense

I would be looking through the new Zeiss before I made any decisions
