Hunt to live-live to hunt!
I kept the beard of mine, it's 9 1/2 inches. The spurs were 1 1/4 inches, but I didn't keep them. However, I think I did take a close up picture of them.
i think we should have a skunk competition
who can bag the smelliest skunk wins!
Do you need a tag for a turkey, and if not how are they regulating it?
Here is the NWTF standard for scoring turkeys...

No tag required they regulated by bag limit just like deer.Originally Posted by beeker
Arc - 1 1/2" spurs is huge !!! And the beard of 9 1/2'' ... awsome. Now get this, if your bird weighed over 15 lbs I think you would have had a provincal record. I looked up scoreing and only 1 bird from BC is on the NWTF record list. My bird would be just behind yours. Where did you get yours ?
If you guys want a hand scoreing your bird just email me. Besure you get a dead on weight to the ouce and we can measure the beard & spurs.
My tom was decent, but I'm pretty sure he was no Provincial record, I have seen a few shot that were larger than mine. I actually got a bigger one when they were still on LEH. He was a West Kootenay turkey. I am at work, but will post a picture up when I get home. Oh, and his spurs were 1 1/4" not 1 1/2".Originally Posted by 300H&H
