How often do you check your trail cameras?

I am usually 2-4 weeks, depending on how long I can wait to see whats up.

another thing to try to do, is when placing the cam, try to situate so that its not facing into the sun.
i happened to go out to set mine up on the only cloudy day we have had in awhile.
i completely overlooked that when placing it, and its facing so the sun is always in its sight.
i will probably have to go back up and correct that.

Yup...I have made that mistake more times than I can count. Same with having the one rogue fern wiggling away infront of it constantly

was getting ready to turn in last night and grabbed the cel-phone to shut it off.
saw an email had come in, opened it, and a deer had just walked by my tcam 3 minutes earlier.
it's a good feeling knowing that you've chosen a decent spot.
I found with all the new growth coming up right now, it wasn't easy to see any game trails yet.
