    Deer in Throes of Death

Another hunter once asked me if I had ever heard blood curdling howls while in the bush...screams like a man being painfully tortured. Apparently he heard something late one night that he never forgot or could ever explain. "No" I said "and I can't imagine what it might of been". I think this video might have his answer. Amazing how human like the vocalizations are. Maybe this explains some of the samsquatch rumours.

When wolves get a deer, it's a horrifying scream. I've heard it a couple of times and it's somewhat skin crawling.

Holy sh!t fire, that's exactly what we heard at spring bear camp a few years back. We joked it was a sasquatch as well. Kind of thought it had something to do with a bear fighting or killing something. thanks for posting.

I've heard bears sound like that too. Usually with a spine shot.

I think I'll go bear hunting tomorrow.

I haven't encountered anything like that in the bush. I've come up on half eaten kills, but have never seen or heard something like that taking place. I always thought a bear taking a deer would be very quick, but I suppose that is not always the case. Owls carrying on and raccoons fighting can be disturbing though!!
