    Gotta find somethin to do

Everyone here is looking forward to early goose season, but Franchi Kid and I are looking forward to what our next target is. Bullfrogs. We can only go so long without hunting for something haha. We got lots of action last year with the pellet guns, our best day being about 37 in the pic below. And yes we did eat them. Fried them with a little olive oil. And as they say. Tastes like chicken!!!

Wow. That's a lot of frogs.

We were out skeet shooting the other evening and we could hear the frogs start with dusk but we couldn't see any.

Is there a trick to finding them?

If you had no clue what it was, how do you know you heard them?

I was at a BCWF meeting and I heard this reverberating noise in the area and had no clue what it was.
When one of the older guys came to the meeting he actually went to the lake and came back with a massive bull frog.

We go froging every year. We fire up the turkey fryer our favorite recipe is to coat them in tempura a mixture of batter then roll them in panko crumbs mixed wit the packaged Cajun coating you get for fish. a few dozen frogs some ice cold Buds(you young guys need to wait a few years for that pleasure lol ) and some chipotle dipping sauce. MMMMMMMMMMMM. They are also great done "pub wing" style. Them big boogers play hell with our local frogs and ducklings so you boys are doing yourself a favour in more ways than one.

We go up a green creek on a small lake near where I live. They're everywhere
