    Supersized Rattle Snake.

My Mom sent this to me. It supposedly came from southern Sask, near my Great Grandparents old farm, last fall.

Is said to be 9' 1" long and weigh in @ 87#'s
Anyone else seen this and what is your version of the story?

I think picture perspective(spelling) is a wonderful thing, seen it used many times on fish to make them look bigger. The loop pole is pointed directly towards the camera. Just my two cents.

I still wouldn't want to meet that critter alive. It gives me the willy's just looking at the picture.

The critter was caught at Katepwa Lake, about an hour out of Regina. The photo is said to be in the Melville Hearald, last fall.

I'm a photo nut. Compare the snake to the handle of the tool being used - It's a BIG snake. Python porportions. You're hard-pressed to find one much thicker that a heater hose. This one is bigger than a rad hose.

I did the research, the story is bunk. It is infact a Western Diamondback, indigenous only to the southern US.

    None-the-less,,, IMPRESSIVE.

I hate snakes , glad that monster is dead.
I'm just here to provide moral support......Hey nice (insert animal here)congrats.

In memory of you dad..."you always leave a campsite cleaner then when you found it"

There's only one thing in life that constitutes insanity..... continuing to do the same thing you have been doing but expecting different results.
