Smoker problems

Bought a new masterbuilt 40" smoker and having s problem. When the temperature reaches the level its set at the smoke turns off. Have to ooenthedoor and cool it off for five minutes before the smoke starts again. Any one else have this problem and is there's fix.

Best fix is exchange or warranty since it's new.
