He spoke and he spoke well. It's up to individuals to decide what to do with their vote. It does seems the non-liberal politicians are taking us seriously now. Keep their feet to the fire regardless of which party they represent.

John Horgan asked some pretty specific questions - said that any shift to non-residents is "a non-starter." Thomson had nothing new to say, although Thomson referred to a "shot-gun" relationship between the opposition and resident hunters. Thomson also attacked the NDP on their position on the grizzly bear hunt. Thomson was challenged about foreign ownership and he replied that the NDP must be against business investment.

All who attended please stand and take a bow. Thank you and especially the people who organised the event.

Was there any indication that Thomson may be willing to re-examine the allocation splits?

No - he stood firm that facilitated negotiations between GOABC and the BCWF failed so he had to make a decision. He said that he listened and made an adjustment to his original decision and maintains what he came up with is fair to both groups.

So what needs to be done to keep this from getting legislated if the liberals aren't going to listen?

To bad Thomson won 57% of the popular vote, would be fun to recall him.

We need to make the public aware that the Goabc is leading the government in a direction that will change the culture of hunting in our province from traditional food gathering to trophy hunting for profit.
Resident hunter and proud of it!
