Used to use Penguin Meats but had a disagreement with the owner and moved to Enis Farms didn't like the cuts we got back. Now using Beltrame so far so good, used him last 2 years.

Cannot beat these guys, only one thing.... Do your very best to bring as clean as possible.
That goes a long way with a butcher...any butcher.
I have seen Moose quarters full of gravel and twigs and the guy is told to take it home so he is angry at the butcher for refusing to clean.
    I mean, gimme a break !

Prob because they were screwing their customer's around and caused lots of bad blood. Cuts were fine but meat returned started getting light and the ground was packed with more pork then deer. Anyway's was a great place in the late 90s early 2000s to bad.

Peter at beltrame meats is scaling down on his cutting so be sure to talk to him before you head out to see if he is willing to take any animals in for you.

Trying Joe at Page Creek Cooler in Abby for a small mulie tomorrow. If it is good I will give him a try if we get a moose later in October..
Peter at Beltrame is definately not doing much if any game.
He is super busy cutting meat for fresh dog food...
