Last shoot of 2014 with two other HBC members and my father. Decent shoot last Dec 28 before it got cold. We had a harder time since the ducks just weren't decoying that day. It's the first time we had to pass shoot most of them on the field. But like always great company and good to get my father out just watching since he hasn't been duck hunting in 20 years. We went 19 just short of a three man limit. And I found a good sized slice in my waders to patch up.

I also got to try out a red dot reflex sight, worked fine but I took it off. Found any rain on the sight I couldn't see the red dot, also I forgot to turn it on one time and that didn't help. Fun toy in dryer weather, maybe try it on the grouse gun. I also picked up a green fiber bead sight, much happier with that. Gathers lots of light even at dawn and really pulls the eye to focus on the bead.
