While Ive seen a few short threads so far this fall I don't think anyone had started a generic thread to post your predator kills and misses.

Made it out this morning with bow and foxpro. Had a pack on the go but came up empty.

Please include techniques(calls, calibers etc)

allow me to add the first pics, out on the 20th of dec with the wife, I spotted the lil dawg checking fence posts for food, at 350 yards away I gave him the old kiss's to the back of the hand call and he comes running full tilt. he came to a stop suddenly and I range him at 116 yards, normally a gimme with a centerfire rifle but I grabbed the 22 cal. lets say that I'm glad I built a 600 yards range in the back yard last spring because 1 shot through the spine just above his heart,lungs and he was toast without so much as a wiggle.

I've never had the opportunity at a black and blonde one before so this one is definatly getting mounted.

ya steve , I moved up to the peace region a Cpl years ago plenty of game year round and a shitload of work that pays well.

dawgs are high on my list this year, I've dropped 2 coyotes and the wife has 1 but we didn't take any pics

BHB, you mentioned the old "kissing the back of the hand"... is this creating some sort of wounded hare sound?

nice cross-fox there, was worried until I saw you are in AB. Congrats they should be fair game in BC too.

it sounds more like high pitched rodent squeaks. a foxes ears are like radar dishes and sounding like a mouse ( their main food ) will bring them running. just make sure your gun is ready to shoot before you start calling so you minimize your movements. I almost blew it
