Most moved out soon after the release , not many left in the canyon , but they will be doing better after the fires .

When the Chasm herd reached 100 head , the leh was inititated. Gone now , along with the sheep , down to less than 20.
Which reminds me.....those domestics in traders cove are still there. Not sure if there was any progress with fencing?

I guess it is better to fight political battles with friends as our enemies rather than fight for wildlife eh?

I was out that way last week and all that is happening is a little road work to help re aline it.
if people of color do it, it's "affirmative action" "civil rights", etc, etc. If a bunch of white folks do it....its "racist" and "hate speech" quote Willyqbc

Spoke with the CO today and have sent an email to the biologist. Definitely interested in helping with a plan and a project once I get more details on what should and could be done.

Sorry HH......i was referring to the fencing surrounding the domestics. Was hoping it was double fenced by now to avoid and chance of nose-to-nose contact with their wild counterparts

    hctf.ca/communications/blog/entry/bc-s-wild-domestic-sheep-separation-program

Best result is by using the RAPP line to report any wild/domestic conflicts
Lets get a street address for those at Traders and pepper the line with reports.

I reported those domestics a few years ago to The first guy from the WSSBC who was in charge of wild/domestic conflicts. I have him the address and he still could not find it. Met him at the WSSBC weekend and i was able to show him on google earth. We could even see the sheep in the yard.
Going on memory but i believe the addy is 114 Westside road.

The bios know about them as they have GPS collar data that show wild sheep moving right behind the house with the domestics. Hard evidence that disaster is a high possiblity.
