Lost my best friend today

Our sympathies, remember the good times, I have outlived far to many hunting partners. Remember for gundogs and their partners there is no Rainbow Bridge just woods, fields and marshes loaded with birds where the season never ends.

The best memories to you during this time. You and Lucy would have shared a special bond and those are the things to remember. Lost my buddy Shadow after almost 18 great years of fun and the first days were tough and little things that make you remember them make you both sad and glad that you had that special time over the years.

Yes very sad.It never gets any easier.We lost our Shepherd last July at 10. Went to get the morning paper called him ,no show ,found him dead under a big maple. My wife and I moped around for weeks. We do have a new GS puppy being born on Jan 12 .Something to consider.Being without a dog is just not right.
