    Made this on the weekend and it turned out great! I especially liked the red pepper flakes. Adds a nice kick. My mom said its the best she's ever had! Thanks for sharing

    Did you pick out all the bones before brining or were these cuts from the tail section only?
    Just a big pain trying to get all the bones out and nothing worse than bones in my smoked salmon. This batch looks awsome!!!

    I cut the slices lengthwise from the fillets and worked carefully around the bones when I got to them. I found it worked pretty well that way. May have wasted a wee bit more than pulling the bones out individually, but not much.
