I'm confused, if the moose population is dwindling, why so many cow or calf LEH's being released in the Prince George area?

    For example, Reg 3 goats:

    3-32F:
    2018: 10 tags - 26.3:1
    2019: 10 tags - 10.5:1

    3-16D:
    2018: 4 tags - 3.7:1
    2019: 4 tags - 14.5:1

So some odds got better, some worse with same number of tags .... Is this just based on a lot more people applying for 3-16D and less people applying for 3-32F ?
People see extremely poor odds from the previous year (26.3:1) and less apply the year after so the odds are better at 10.5:1

In your other example it's reversed. People see relatively decent odds at 3.7:1 from the previous year and it attracts more applicants to that draw the next year resulting in a much tougher hunt to pull (14.5:1).

I curious as to why the leh moose hunts are only shared hunts. What if i dont have any buddies and want to take part in the cow calf. It would be alot easier to pack out a calf by your self than a immature unicorn. Am I wrong?

You can apply for moose as an individual. The LEH rules are not worded in a way that's easily understood in regards to moose with the shared and group wordings in my opinion. My dad and I have always applied as individuals and done quite well.

If my buddy is going in on my moose hunt as a group application can I fill out his info for him and pay for him when I apply? Or does he need to do anything on his end?

This is is my first time doing a group hunt

    thanks
