Westside California Bighorn Rams

Had to take a break from all the allocation stuff today so I made a quick trip over to Westside road to see if I could find some rams to photograph. Didn't take long..









The final shot is kind of fitting, for an animal that lives his life dodging cars on the side of one of BC's most dangerous roads.. Hopefully he'll live to see his 8th birthday - he's really starting to turn into a great looking animal.

I agree. I have taken pics of the big guy a few times over the last year. Hopefully they are left alone and not poached. Biggest fear photographing then is I don't want to spook them into oncoming traffic.. People drive way too fast along there. Luckily I slowed a guy at one point or these two might have been toast.

man those are great pics... some beauty rams for sure.. hope they don't get run over.....
