    He has returned

    Had this blacktail constantly on my cameras until about the time hunting season started....He has been on my mind ever since and has finally decided to come back, hoping to run in to him in person eventually! Crappy footage since he showed himself on my bad camera this time around but he is a 4x4 with brow tines. The second video is him thrashing the camera which I found cool.

    He is thickening up in his neck nicely... Full rut is just around the corner
    Get out of the Truck, Off of the trail, and Onto the tracks...

    When would you say it is usually on? First week in November or is that still early yet?

    ya seems like the first wave of good bucks get shot around remembrance day. Freeze the video at 8's and you get a good look at his frame.

    For that area (based on your other posts and scenery shots) Full rut is usually November 11-15. Hunt as much as you can that period. Use a can call and grunt tube.
