    Pheasant, sharptail, valhalla

Opening day of a 15 day Upland Bird hunt with my dog Carlo and we found Pheasants, Huns, and Sharpies everywhere. I couldn't be happier with Carlo's training, this all gives credence to steadiness, staunch points and wing, shot and fall.

Pointed and relocated on this pheasant 3 times before it finally decided to stop sneaking through the weeds for the final time.

    Carlo's successful labor of love

    Beautiful bird country

Great stuff. Nice to see pictures of a fine dog at work and the birds "in the bag" as the proof. Thanks for sharing, nice looking country.

I must admit I miss that kind of shooting over my dogs. Great pix, way to go.
