late season Stones...have I got enough time? Or to far?

Aaaahhhh, so I've been planning to head up north for my first shot at chasing Stones around....but seems I'm only going to have 7 days....not the 10 or so I was planning. So......too far to go? Would it be smarter to head somewhere else that 's closer and spend more time hunting and less driving? If ya had a week, where would you go right now?....Elk, deer, sheep, goat....not in that order. Or F^%$ it and just go....

We just got back from Fort Nelson. Was pretty nice still some snow up high. I would go, you never know what else life has in store.

i don't know-- but a day to drive up, a day to hike in, a day to hike out, a day to drive down. that's a long way to go for only 3 days of hunting

I agree stay closer. You get 3 days of bad weather and you're out $1000 in fuel.

Personally, I wouldn't go if I only had 7 days. Way too much driving for way too little hunting.
