    Makin some deer pepperoni

So after the bear pepperoni turned out so good, pinhead and I decided to make a bunch with some of the meat from the deer we recently got.

We used the "snackin sticks" seasoning/cure kit and did the mixing and stuffing tonight. Tomorrow its in to the smokers!

I will let ya know how it ends up. Cant wait to re stock the pepperoni stockpile.

What smoker will you be using?

I tried some in my little chief but couldn't get the meat up to temperature. I then put it in the oven at 170 degrees and made a great big mess.

Tasted great but spent quite a long time cleaning the oven.
Rejuvenation: Sitting in the slash in sub-zero temperatures waiting for first light and hearing antlers clashing together. Oh man, life is good!
